
Malkangiri, 06/04/2026: A joint public hearing and grievance camp has been held at Balimela City Hall for prompt resolution of public issues by the Malkangiri district administration. Hundreds of local residents reached the camp under the chairmanship of district magistrate Arvind Rajashirke with their personal and collective problems. A total of 10 individual and 6 village related complaints were heard in the camp. Important issues such as Prime Minister’s Housing Scheme, Land Leasing, Old Age and Widow Allowance and Disability Assistance were discussed. Apart from this, the District Magistrate directed the departmental officers to solve the problems of drinking water, electricity connection and roads. In this program, along with District Collector, Superintendent of Guards Vinod Patil, Khand Forest Officer Sai Kiran, Chief Development Officer Dasharathi Sarabu, Deputy District Collector Duryodhan Bhoi and CDMO Dr. Dolamani Pradhan was present and heard the problems of the people. In addition, all Tahsildars, BIDs and district level officials joined the camp.
