The stall of the District Law Service Authority has been inaugurated in the State Level Polishri Mela-2026 and Maraguda Festival-2026 organized at the National College campus in Silda, Nuapada District. Chief Judicial Magistrate Pragya Paramita Mohapatra, Secretary District Legal Services Authority Navnita Das, Women Court Judge Sarojini Sahu, Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate Snataki Das, District Bar Association Public Secretary Parilal Dewangan, Chief Legal Services Counsel Advocate Captain, Assistant Legal Services Counsel Kartik Ram Bagh, President Jayakumar Nishad, Loknath Bagh, Kunj Bihari Bagh and Juraj Mitra took prominent part. On this occasion, Secretary Navnita Das said that the main objective of the stall was to convey the working style of District Legal Services Authority, free legal services, alternative dispute resolution process, Permanent People’s Courts and Legal Services Authority Act, 1987 and the availability of District Legal Services Authority to the public. He appealed to the public to come to the stall of the District Legal Services Authority and seek free legal aid and advice. Various availability of District Law Service is displayed in this stall through pictures. On the fourth day of the fair, the birth certificates made for 41 poor, orphaned and neglected children of Nuapada and Khariar road areas under Sathima Abhiyan were distributed under the supervision of Chief Judicial Magistrate Pragya Parmita Mohapatra, Secretary of District Legal Service Authority Navnita Dash, Women’s Court Judge Sarojini Sahu and Registrar Saubhagya Ranjan Pradhan. Advocates of the District Attorney’s Association and legal representatives of the authority were also present. The children and their parents thanked the District Legal Services Authority for receiving the birth certificate.
