Nuapada: Urban public relations and civic participation program has been organized by the notified Achal Parishad, Khariar Road on the sixth day at Ward No. 8 and 9 Gayatri Temple Yard. It was attended by the vice president of the council, Nishant Daga, the former councilor Paroor Patel, the executive officer of the council, Kamlasan Rath and all the men and women. The program was organized with the objective of improving the direct relationship between the public and the government, promoting active participation of citizens, creating awareness about various public welfare schemes and development programs of the central and state governments, and connecting the views and aspirations of citizens with the governance process.
