Kolabira/K.Parmanpur, 30/04 (Fast News Odisha)- There was a fire in Buchamunda rural forest behind Block Garden Division of Kolabira Forest Range, Siriapali Forest, Jharsuguda District. It has been alleged that the fire broke out near the 64 KV transformer inside the protected forest. Local residents have complained that the power line was down for 24 hours in Ramkumar, Buchamunda area due to the burning of the electric cable. There is a short-circuit in the forest, but the section officer of the electricity department denied it and informed that the electricity cable was burnt due to the forest fire.
