
Baripada: Gaur Dasgiri 23/05/2026 Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) district level workers training camp of Mayurbhanj (East) Sangthanik district has been organized here on Saturday evening. The program named “Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Prashikshan Maha Abhiyan-2026” was inaugurated on Friday morning at the local “Shriram Palace” under the chairmanship of BJP district president Nihar Ranjan Modi and it is reported to have continued for two days. State Housing and Urban Development Minister Dr. Krishnachandra Mahapatra inaugurated the camp by hoisting the party flag, among others, Baltimore MP and former Union Minister Pratap Shadangi, Udala MLA and District Planning Board Chairman Bhaskar Chandra Madhei, Ladasahi MLA Sanatan Ekita, Bangiriposhi Vidayika Sanjali Murmu, former Union Minister Engineer Visveshwar Tudu, Udala N.C. Chairperson Pramila Panda, State Tribes Morcha President Candra Soren, BJP State Spokesperson Kavivishnu Shetpathi, State Working Member Jeevan Kumar Sahu, District Special Development Council Vice President Kaushalya Naik, District District Warden Thakur Ranjit Das, State Youth Secretary Soumaranjan Mishra were the main manchasin. On the second day of the camp on Saturday, they were joined by Mayurbhan MP Navcharan Majhi, BJP State General Secretary Biranchi Narayan Tripathi, District Organization Pravari Sipra Vajpayee, former Rajya Sabha MP Mamata Mahanth, district district co-in-charge Naveen Ram, while BJP national leader Dineshananda Goswami attended the ceremony as the chief guest and gave the inaugural address. Apart from these, it has been reported that Mr. Basudev Barik, Kishore Chandra Panda, Prashant Sahu, Jytharanjan Nayak and Ms. Sujata Padhi have come here from the state to train in various subjects. Around two hundred prominent activists of the district attended as trainees and the camp was said to be completed with peace and order.
