In the “Entrepreneurship awareness and development program” organized by the District Industries Centre, Nuapada at Sadhavana Assembly Hall, the unemployed youth of the district should contact various government departments and take advantage of the government’s entrepreneurship promotion scheme to become self-reliant and develop themselves as successful entrepreneurs. Nuapada block chairperson Tareshwari Sahu, Komna block chairperson Anusuya Kuphar and additional executive officer of the district council Khamsnidhi Bhoi attended the program as honored guests and expressed their views on the need for economic empowerment and employment generation through entrepreneurship. Samir Muduli, General Secretary of District Industries Center gave the welcome speech while Pragya Kumar Mishra, Project Manager, presented power point about various plans, policies and government assistance of MSME department for the financial year 2026-27. Officials from various departments also discussed the possibilities of business development and self-employment. Entrepreneurs and young women spoke about their experiences and problems. On this occasion, ten successful and emerging entrepreneurs of the district were felicitated for their outstanding achievements and contribution to employment generation at the local level. Bharti Bai Bagh, Mamata Khamari, Sarita Singh, Raj Sahu, Amarendra Mohanty, Arjun Singh Dalipati, Krishna Chandra Meher, Vinay Jain, Bishka Agrawal and Bhupendra Sahu were prominent among the entrepreneurs who flourished. The program was attended by a large number of entrepreneurs, self help group members and aspiring young women from different blocks of the district.
