Various social organizations, especially the Ramdoli Youth Power Association, have repeatedly raised this demand. As of now, no permanent SP has been appointed for Rairangpur Police District. In view of the upcoming visit of VIPs like President and Prime Minister on June 19 and 20, there is a need to fill the post of SP for security, law and order and administrative coordination. However, there is no formal announcement from the government or the police department on whether SP will be appointed in Rairangpur police district before the visit. However, locals are hopeful that the posts will be filled before the VIP visit to strengthen the functioning of the new police district.
