Nuapada: Urban Public Relations and Civic Partnership program has been organized by the notified local council, Khariar Road on the 7th day at Ward No. 10 and 11 Girls High School premises. It was attended by the vice president of the council, Nishant Daga, senior citizen of the city Gobind Sharma, senior lawyer Trilok Soni, executive officer of the council, Kamlasan Rath, Kalahandi MP representative Goldi Agarwal and all the members of the society. The program was organized with the objective of improving the direct relationship between the public and the government, encouraging active participation of the citizens, creating awareness about the various public welfare schemes and developmental programs of the central and state governments and connecting the views and aspirations of the citizens with the governance process.
