
Malkangiri, 22nd June: Special election camp has been organized in a remote village on Andhra-Odisha border under Chittarakonda Block under the direction of Malkangiri District Magistrate and District Election Officer. 147- This special election process and digitization camp was organized in Gandhiguda village of Papermetla village panchayat of Chittarakonda Assembly Constituency. The main objective of this camp was to include the names of all eligible voters in the border areas and to achieve 100% digitization of election related forms. In this special camp, Malkangiri Additional District Administration and Election Registration Officer Somnath Pradhan, Chittarakonda Tahsildar and Assistant Election Registration Officer Natbar Gorda, Chittagong Group Development Officer and IRO Preeta Kumar, Assistant District Election and IRO K. Ashok Chakraborty and District Sports Officer Munna Turuk were chiefly present. Under the direct supervision of the present Administrative Officer, Papermatla Sarpanch, Booth Level Officers and Supervisors, 100% digitization of all voter correction and paper collection forms of Papermatla Panchayat has been successfully completed. Along with this, a large number of Form-6 has been collected for registering the names of new youth voters. On this occasion, sports materials have also been distributed by the administration to the local youth of Papermetla Panchayat under Gramodaya Yojana. The local residents have expressed their satisfaction that the administration has reached the remote border areas and done such a public welfare work.
