Kalahandi Makund Naik – (Fast News Odisha) 22/06 A huge stakeholder conference and public awareness meeting was held on the occasion of the second anniversary of Odisha government’s “Development trend across Odisha” in the area of Meeul Patna Padepad Gram Panchayat Samiti under Thuamul Rampur block of Kalahandi district. The meeting was organized to sensitize the stakeholders about various welfare schemes, rural development and social security programs of the government. Mr. Prashant Besra and Supply Assistant Mr. Kshirsindhu Naik. All Panchayat level staff and local representatives gave active support to make the program successful. Before the start of the meeting, a large number of women from Padepadar Panchayat welcomed the chief guest and other guests by offering flowers. The entire assembly was filled with cheers, applause and enthusiastic congratulations from the women. The guests were also warmly welcomed by the people present. In his speech, the Chief Guest Mr. Sahalvi Naik said that now the government is taking various public welfare initiatives for the welfare of the poor, the helpless and the underprivileged. , earlier beneficiaries were getting 5 kilos of rice, but now 10 kilos of rice have been provided through Annapurna Yojana. He said that the poor families will be benefited more by this. Other guests in their respective speeches discussed about successful implementation of rural development, women empowerment, education, health, drinking water, road improvement and social security schemes. They also expressed their opinion about the benefits of various schemes of the government reaching the grass root level. In this meeting, Anganwadi Karmi, Asha Karmi, M. B. K, C. Members of all wards of RF, Panchayats, women from Self Help Groups, Bharatiya Janata Party workers, senior citizens, many dignitaries and hundreds of beneficiaries attended. Especially the presence of a large number of old men, women, youth and women made the program more successful and interesting. The entire meeting was conducted by PEO Shri Trilochan Naik in a smooth and orderly manner. Due to his skillful stage management and coordination, the program was successfully completed.
