
Nuapada: Nuapada district has got another success in the field of sports. Dekshish Sinha and Raja Chhabada brought glory to the district by becoming runners-up in the state-level men’s over-45 badminton competition held on May 17 at the Mahanadi Coalfields Indoor Stadium in Burla, Sambalpur district. The mesmerizing performance of both the players won the hearts of the sports lovers. In recognition of this achievement, District Collector Madhusudan Das attended a felicitation ceremony held at Nuapada as the chief guest and felicitated both the players. He said that sports and regular exercise are the basis of a healthy life. Even in the midst of a busy lifestyle, it is important to find time for your health and take up sports. He opined that regular sports and exercise keep us healthy, active and active. District Sports Officer Rajendra Prasad added that age is never a barrier in sports. Success can be achieved at any age with regular practice and confidence. He said that the success of Dekshish Sinha and Raja Chhabada is an inspiring example for the youth.
