Baripada 04/03: Maharaja Sriramchandra Bhanjdeo University’s ‘Annual Celebration-2026’ has been inaugurated. Mr. Prakash Soren, Baripada MLA attended as the chief guest in the inaugural program presided over by Undergraduate Council Chairman Prof. Kamal Lochan Barik in the university conference room and delivered a summarizing speech on the need for discipline and ethics in student life. University Chancellor Prof. Pramod Kumar Shetpathi joined as Patron and spoke about the recent achievements of the University and called upon the students to actively participate in education, research and cultural programs and acquire age-appropriate modern knowledge. Distinguished literary and social worker Kavivishnu Shetpathi joined as the keynote speaker and spoke about the importance of value-based education and the responsibility of students for the development of nationalism. He provides a picture of how humanity is dying with the development of education. At the beginning of the meeting, the new edition of the University Choir was launched by the Chief Guest and served in the meeting. On this occasion, the guests unveiled the mouthpiece of the university. Dr. Monali Goswami, Coordinator of the Cultural Committee, introduced the guests and gave details of the program. Assistant Professor Dr. Bishnupriya gave vote of thanks. Savita Barik, Researcher of the Department of Orthology, invited the guest to the stage. On this occasion, certificates and prizes were awarded to the students who participated in competitions such as Quiz, Jhoti, Orthodox and English Reasoning, Essay, Music Singing, Essay, Group Dance etc. In the afternoon, a cultural program was performed by the students. Faculty members, non-teaching staff and students participated in the program.
