
Malkangiri, 2/5/26: Malkangiri district has achieved a glorious success in this year’s annual secondary examination. The pass rate of the district is higher than the average pass rate of the state and among the other districts of South Odisha, Malkangari is at the top with the highest A grade. Especially the PM in Balimela. Ms. Shubhashree Nayak, a student of Sri Govt. High School, has become the district topper with a total of 565 marks (94.16%). 22 students from Malkangiri district have scored more than 90 percent marks and 66 students have scored more than 80 percent marks in the annual secondary examination results released today. While South Odisha state namely Nabarangpur 9, Koraput 19, Rayagada 6 and Gajapati 6 have achieved more than 90 percent. District Education Officer Chittaranjan Manigarahi on behalf of the district education office congratulated the students and the school and said that the pass rate of the district is higher than the pass rate of the state and 80 and 90 percent more than the states of South Odisha. According to the information received from District Science Inspector Jagannath Prasad Behera, 255 children who failed the examination will retake the examination through the free school and 399 children who did not get success are being arranged to take the supplementary examination once again. According to the Additional District Education Officer, the special residential coaching arrangement that was implemented has yielded better results than the previous year. Again this step will be expedited and planned for the next test. All the results will be informed to the district governor and the district administration and arrangements will be made to give congratulations to the successful students, principal and parents soon.
