Even the assistant engineer and the junior engineer did not come to the office, the board kept the office in a dilapidated condition. It is alleged that illegal activities are going on in the premises of Madua’s liquor store at night. Liquor bottles are lying on the premises of this office. Surprisingly, the department does not have an account of how functional the lift points of the lift irrigation department are, while the farmers are raising water at their own expense for Kharatia cultivation. It is alleged that lakhs of rupees were wasted in the repair of peas and purchase of peas and other related items when the lift points were not implemented in Muniguda and Chandrapuru blocks. Farmers with many such problems, when they go to meet the assistant engineer or the junior engineer, they come back to see that there is a bearded witness in the old office. Where are these officers living and the common farmers cannot be found, it is heard from their mouths that why is not the recruitment of lift irrigators in Muniguda? In such a situation, public question is raised while JAI is not seen. The farmers of Muniguda and Chandrapuru blocks, who have been scammed by showing water supply at lift points in paper pen, requested Chief Minister Mohan Majhi and said that the intervention of vigilance is necessary to conduct a high-level investigation into the irrigation scam.
