Nuapada: A huge awareness rally has been organized by the Nuapada district administration today to create awareness among the common people about National Census-2027. District Collector Madhusudan Das inaugurated the procession by hoisting the flag at the headquarters. The procession left the headquarters and traveled up to Ekta Street and ended at the District Collector’s office. Awareness about the importance of Census was created through loudspeakers along with the rally. A signature campaign was also organized along with it. On this occasion, the District Collector said that census is a national program and active participation of all is essential. He requested all the residents of Nuapada district to actively participate in the Self-Enumeration and provide correct information to the enumerators during the original enumeration. ADM Subash Chandra Rait, CDI Lambodar Dharua, Upazilapal Mrs. Surmi Soren, District Council Additional Executive Officer Khamnidhi Bhoi and all the district level officials were present in this program. It is worth mentioning that according to Census-2027, self-enumeration will continue from 01.04.2026 to 15.04.2026 and the main enumeration will start from 16.04.2026.
