Baripada: Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led BJP-NDA at the Centre. On the occasion of twelve years of government’s “service, good governance and welfare of the poor” and Mr. Modi becoming the longest-serving elected Prime Minister of independent India, the workers of BJP Baripada city branch on Wednesday offered Deepdan and Puja at the local large Jagannath temple. (Ronal Dagyal Fast News Odisha) Raikia, [ତା :08/6/26] : Kandhamal District: After assuming charge as the new president of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Jerbash Dagyal visited Raikia region for the first time. In this regard, he was given a warm welcome by the local workers and supporters. Later, an organizational meeting was held at Raikia. Attending this meeting, the new district president Mr. Dagyal gave an important message about Dodar’s ideals and welfare schemes. He said that our Aadmi Party has always been working to solve the problems of education, health, electricity, water and other basic issues of common people. The inter-state cricket tournament was organized by Glarios Cricket Association Rikili at Durgam Petur retreat under Pattangi Block, Koraput district, under the leadership of Dasarath Khil, President of Glarios Cricket Association, Secretary Moshesh Gandheri, Bolu Pelmal, Purna Guntha, Hari Gandheri and all the members of the association. Baripada, representative: Biju Janata Dal, Baripada block has issued a detailed demand letter to the District Collector regarding the administrative disorder in Baripada block, uncooperative attitude towards public representatives and allegations of corruption and irregularity in various developmental works. A delegation led by former MLA and State Senior General Secretary of BJJ *Mr. Sanand Marndi* met the district magistrate and demanded an independent investigation into the various allegations raised against Baripada block video. Malkangiri, 9/6/26: Administrative review meetings and voter awareness programs have been successfully held in various blocks in Malkangiri district to speed up the Special Assembly Amendment 2026 process. did. Correspondingly, in Chittagong block also, a meeting was held by the Additional District Magistrate comprising BLOs and Supervisors to review the enumeration form distribution, collection and digitization process, which included the Chittagong BID-and-EERO and all election staff. Malkangiri, 8/6/26: In order to achieve 100% success of the upcoming Special Summary Revision or special assembly revision process and to include all the eligible citizens in the voter list, extensive sweep program and ‘Chunabchaya Tash’ have been held in various blocks of Malkangiri district. Through this campaign, maximum emphasis is placed on the process of registration of new voters, correction of errors and deletion of names of dead or transferred voters. A special ‘Chunab Workshop’ was organized under the direct chairmanship of the local IRO-and-BDO at booth no-107 of Kumarput and booth no-108 of Kumarput-2 under Khairput block. A large number of women and youth voters of the village attended the meeting. They were made aware of the role of a voter in a democracy and the process of verifying their names and filling up forms. Similarly, a massive sweep awareness meeting has been held in Part No. 27 and Part No. 28 of Mathil Block. The program was attended by Additional Block Development Officers, Gram Panchayat Development Officers, all booth level officers and BLO Supervisors including Mathil AIR-and-VIDEO. An awareness procession was held on the occasion and the villagers were called upon to actively participate in the upcoming special reform program. BLOs have been directed to go door-to-door to collect information especially for young women who have reached the age of 18 to get their names registered. On the contrary, Chunab workshops have been organized for local BLOs and general public at booth no-167 and 171 under Balimela NAC. In this workshop, there was a frank discussion with the attendees about the renewal of voter list. If the photo, name or address on the ID card is wrong, how it can be corrected online or offline, was explained through a demo. The main objective of all these campaigns is to prepare a transparent, accurate and complete voter list in the district so that no eligible voter is deprived of his rights.

*Malkangiri, 8/6/26:* A special joint public grievance redressal camp has been successfully held in the premises of Korukonda Gram Panchayat Office to resolve the long standing problems of the public and bring administrative services closer to the people. In this high-level camp organized under the chairmanship of Malkangari District Magistrate Arvind Rajashirke, District Security Superintendent Vinod Patil H, Bankhand Officer Sai Kiran, Chief Development Officer and Executive Officer Dasharthi Sarabu, Deputy District Magistrate Duryodhan Bhoi and Block Chairman Jitu Burudi were the main attendees and directly heard the complaints of various people. Korukonda Block Development Officer Amirya Sahu successfully coordinated the entire program while Assistant Collector Pritam Deta assisted in the management of the camp. In this special settlement camp, a total of 70 grievances were registered by the local people to resolve important issues like various welfare schemes, government assistance, land dispute, ration card, transit, drinking water and rural development. Among them, there are 35 individual complaints related to personal allowance, housing and medical assistance, while another 35 applications related to village roads, electricity and collective development were received. The administration directed some sensitive cases to be dealt with immediately on the ground and the concerned departmental officials were directed to complete the rest of the issues within the stipulated time frame. On this occasion, District Collector Mr. Rajshirke said, “The district administration is always committed to serving the people and solving their problems.” It is the main objective of the administration to redress every grievance in a transparent, fair and timely manner so that no deserving beneficiary is deprived of government schemes. The public should not hesitate to inform the administration about their problems, the administration is with the public at every level. The people of Korukonda area have highly appreciated this joint grievance redressal camp as the administrative officers themselves come to the people and understand the problems.

Daringbadi: 9/6 (Salmon Bindhani) Kandhamal District Daringbadi police station is conducting strict checks on motor vehicles and there is information that they seized 7 autos and 5 bikes in one day. To control various crimes and accidents in the police station area, police officer Keshari Jena’s leadership is blocking and checking at various places.
